NEW YORK, Oct. 1, 2026 – Vatrer Power, a leading LiFePO4 product and technology solution provider, has launched a significant improvement to its golf cart battery range with a newly upgraded Battery Management System (BMS). The upgrade is designed to enhance safety, reduce standby power consumption, and extend battery service life.

“Our goal has always been to provide golf cart owners and fleet operators with reliable, durable energy solutions,” said Emma Larson, a battery specialist at Vatrer Power. “By listening closely to our users’ feedback and leveraging our proprietary engineering, we have developed an upgraded BMS that significantly advances the battery’s control and protection system — delivering dependable performance and durability on the course.”

The 36V, 48V, and 72V golf cart battery series from Vatrer Power is already known in the industry for its A-grade LiFePO4 cells, convenient drop-in replacement design, Bluetooth app monitoring, and high continuous discharge strength for tough terrains. The upgraded BMS raises the bar on system safety thresholds, delivers more accurate state-of-charge (SOC) estimation, and is designed to extend overall battery service life.

Features & Benefits

• Millisecond-level short-circuit protection to prevent sparking.
• ±10kV ESD protection for reliable operation in diverse environments.
• Comprehensive hardware safeguards against voltage, current, and temperature extremes.
• Pre-discharge and built-in heating allow for reliable year-round operation.
• Ultra-low ≤5mA standby current enables up to 58 days of idle storage.
• 5mA micro-current detection for accurate SOC readings.
• 1000mA bidirectional active balancing to maximize cell lifespan.

Together, these upgrades are designed to improve battery protection, monitoring accuracy, and reliability across a wider range of operating conditions.

The upgraded BMS will be rolled out in the coming months. For more information please visit vatrerpower.com.
