Over 30 carts compete in adrenaline-pumping racing action with speeds pushing 70 mph
The third annual Golf Cart Braggin’ Rights event at Rockingham Dragway exceeded all expectations this past Sunday, May 18, delivering heart-stopping racing action and unforgettable memories for both competitors and spectators alike.
More than 30 golf carts participated across multiple racing categories, from stock daily drivers to highly modified speed demons capable of reaching nearly 70 mph. The diversity of builds and competitors showcased the incredible innovation and passion driving the golf cart racing community.
“We’ve seen this event grow tremendously over the past three years, and this year’s turnout was the best yet,” said Matt White, editor of Golf Carting Magazine. “The level of competition and craftsmanship in these builds just keeps getting better. It’s amazing to see what these builders can accomplish with golf carts.”
The day featured intense competition across all classes, with each category delivering thrilling head-to-head battles and impressive displays of engineering prowess. From the accessibility of the stock classes to the jaw-dropping performance of unlimited builds, every race provided excitement for all in attendance.
