Club Car’s Consumer Connect GPS system offers the private golf car owner access to Visage Golf Experience, includes two overhead installed Bluetooth speakers and displays real time car diagnostics including battery status, odometer and speedometer.
Consumer Connect continues to improve with software and feature enhancements. In August, we released improvements to the scorecard and scorekeeping, now allowing scorekeeping for 5 players, selection of your tee box and entry of your handicap. Consumer Connect now also displays the state of charge and battery status on the screen when the car is not in use and is plugged in and charging. Club Car continues to invest in and release new features to Consumer Connect based on market demand and feedback, at no additional cost to the customer or the Dealer.
Club Car’s Consumer Connect is designed to remain ON, and “goes to sleep” after about 75 minutes of no activity. The system therefore remains “on” and available to receive software or course updates via the homeowner’s Wifi at no cost. Additionally for those cars without access to Wifi, you can use your phone as a hotspot to connect and receive updates. Once the customer is ready to go for a drive or play a round of golf, all that is required is GPS. The system contains all the information needed and does not have to remain in a Wifi zone. Consumer Connect is compatible with 2014 and newer gas, electric, and lithium Club Car Onward, Precedent and Tempo cars. Everything you need for installation is included in the kit.
Consumer Connect resources, tools and frequently asked questions can be found in Club Car Links, under the Cars tab, in the Connectivity Folder.
