Canyon Lake Golf Cart Show Goes Big
By Kristen Schwarzman
The Canyon Lake Fire Fighter Association’s 3rd Annual Golf Cart Show was nothing short of legendary!
With shiny chrome, creative custom builds, and crowds that came from near and far ready to roll! The Canyon Lake Town Center turned into a motorized celebration of all things fun, fast, and fabulously funky.
From tricked-out carts with underglow and booming sound systems to vintage rides polished to perfection, every path led to jaw-dropping creativity. Families cruised, judges scrutinized, and cameras clicked as the parking lot turned into a runway of wheels and wild imagination.
With winners in both the Best in Show and People’s Choice categories, the Batmobile Tumbler and Club Car 240SX took home the cheddar!
Winners of both categories also received a one of a kind trophy made by none other than Tim OMarra of the Canyon Lake Fire Fighters Association. “We are grateful to all who came out and participated in our 3rd Annual Golf Cart Show. The creativity of the cart owners and generosity of the vendors make this show truly unique. We are looking forward to seeing everyone next June”, said the man himself, Tim OMarra.
The city’s local golf cart dealership and repair center Canyon Lake Mobile Golf Cart Repair was a sponsor of the event and owner, Tony Schwarzman, said, “We love that this has become an Industry event and golf cart companies from around the region can come together for an awesome cause.”
With rockin’ music from both the stage and the carts, the best food trucks around, kids activities, e-bike rodeo, both local and non local vendors, the day was a total SLAM DUNK! Canyon Lake Mobile Golf Cart Repair’s Service Coordinator, Kelly Fellin, said, “It was a great turnout with lots of people. Even better…people with golf cart questions! Being able to help customers from all around was epic!”
We can’t wait to see what rolls in next year—because clearly, around here, golf carts are fore more than just the course!
