Why We Do it:

Founded by Troy Merrifield, Golf Carting Magazine (formally Golf Cart Times Magazine) is the premier golf and electric cart informational magazine dedicated to bringing the most comprehensive information to golf cart consumers and dealers alike. This site and print magazine are intended to provide accurate information to both the golf cart owner and the golf cart professional. It is for customers, dealers and service professionals.

Our mission is to deliver information in order to help people enjoy the golf cart lifestyle, as well as provide resources that can aid dealers in developing their businesses. Who Does it:

Troy Merrifield: Creative Director / Founder

Troy Merrifield serves as the Creative Director of Golf Carting Magazine and brings his extensive experience in graphic design, photography, and a deep knowledge of both UTVs and golf carts to the table. Troy started UTV Off-road Magazine in 2006 where he was the Founder and Editor-in-Chief for 13 years. This magazine started out as a golf cart publication before evolving to more of the UTV and side-by-side niche. Troy is super excited to go back to his roots to create and share exciting golf cart content. He currently resides in Glendale, AZ, near the heart of one of the top golf carting communities in the United States — Sun City.

Christian Amico: Production Advisor

Christian Amico has been in the golf cart industry since 2016 and has helped open, run and manage multiple successful golf cart related businesses. Christian background is in marketing and software development where he started and ran numerous tech companies before entering this amazing industry. His knowledge of the golf cart industry paired with his strategic partnerships and relationships is a huge asset to the company.

Trevor Rose: Editing Advisor

Trevor Rose is an entrepreneur and golf cart enthusiast. Having lived in South Carolina, a golf-cart mecca, and currently in SW Florida, golf carts are a big part of his life. Trevor is a co-owner of a custom golf cart dealer and also a co-owner of a business related to electric cart insurance and finance. He brings a well-rounded body of knowledge to the site that includes cart sales, manufacturing and cart dealership.

Kelly Madden: Staff Writer

Kelly has been involved in the Golf Cart & UTV since 2019. He’s a professional writer and contributes to numerous tech and lifestyle blogs.
